As the name suggests, winemaker Eddie McDougall is man who is rarely on the ground for long.

Established in 2010, The Flying Winemaker set out as a modern era négociant, building on grower relationships formed and nurtured by Eddie during his teeth-cutting years working at O'Leary Walker (Clare Valley), Giant Steps (Yarra Valley), Clyde Park (Geelong), Vietti (Barolo) and Wood Park (King Valley).

Based in Macau, Eddie is also a respected wine judge and tireless advocate for Australian wine across Asia.

In 2019, Lilian Carter joined the company as Australia's ‘winemaker on the ground’. She brings a technical level of expertise and attention to detail across the winemaking program. 
 

The Flying Winemaker range comprises modern expressions from Margaret River and King Valley – bright, hand-crafted and delicious everyday drinking.
